Please note that If you continue to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Urban Sports’s relationship with you in relation to this website. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.
Bookings
All bookings are subject to Urban Sports standard terms and conditions (copies are available from us on request) and the following:- We take no responsibility for bookings that have not received a booking reference. If you are unsure at any time in the reservation process as to whether your transaction has been completed, you should telephone us directly, or email us at info@urbansports.joburg to check that the transaction is complete and obtain the booking reference number. The price of each booking will be as quoted on the app/website at the time you confirm your booking subject only to any inadvertent technical mistake which we shall not be liable for.
We reserve our right to cancel your booking and any future bookings with us if we are refused authority for payment or reasonably believe that payment will be refused at any stage. We are proud of the service we offer and that includes our approach to security. Maintaining your privacy is a priority which is why we use PayFast South Africa as our merchant payment gateway. Urban Sports will not capture or store your card details without your permission and once you have entered your card number into a payment page securely hosted by PayFast, all sensitive data is encrypted and sent to the banks for processing. Some card details can be stored for your convenience but cannot be accessed by Urban Sports and will still require security checks in order to be reused Through PayFast, we have also enabled 3D Secure (Verified by Visa and SecureCode by MasterCard). This is an additional check to confirm no one but you is using your card. This box will appear and ask you to enter a selection of characters from your password e.g. first, third and fifth character. So do not be alarmed if this additional check appears. Other payment methods used are EFT, Zapper as well as cash on arrival. Urban Sports enter into a contract with the person booking the pitch only. Where players pay individually, Urban Sports are collecting this on behalf of the pitch booker (captain or nominated contact person) and do not enter into a contract with the individual player.
Prepaid Bookings
Full Payment will be deducted from your Credit/Debit Card at the time of making your reservation via the app/website. Discounted booking offers made through on-line and in-app bookings cannot be cancelled and no refunds will be given.
Reserve Online and Pay on Arrival
Your credit card will not be charged. You may pay for your bookings by either cash,card, Zapper or SnapScan. when you arrive to play. Your reservation on the app/website may be cancelled at no charge by doing so via the app/website,. Emailing info[at]urbansports.joburg or by telephone provided it is cancelled at least one full day before the booking. Cancelling your booking on the day, or failing to show, will result in a charge for the booking to your credit card or account.
Pricing
All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR).
Credit and Debit Cards
We accept MasterCard and Visa debit/credit cards through ZipZap http://www.zipzap.co.za). If you do not have a credit/debit card please utilise one of the other payment options.
EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer)
If given, please use your unique order number in the reference line for your payment, otherwise please use your team name, or a contact person(s) name as a reference. Banking Details:
